My Story

From Desk Warrior to Your Longevity Coach

I know what it's like to sacrifice health for ambition. As a teenager, surrounded by top athletes, I lived in a world that valued fitness - but my path led elsewhere. I chased success in tech startups - trading training sessions for deadlines. Long hours at a desk and a suboptimal diet became my new normal, slowly leaving me drained, injured, and far from the health I once had.

In 2018, approaching 30, the fear of inheriting my family's health issues became a wake-up call. Enter Dr. Peter Attia, a beacon of scientific longevity research. Inspired, I embarked on a journey of longevity learning how to optimize my health and well-being. 

 

In 2013, with a Bachelor of Science degree as my foundation, I became an ACE-certified personal trainer, which is also accredited by the NCCA.

During my bodybuilding years in 2010 - 2013, I quickly discovered that there's a lot of "bro-science" in the field. So, instead, I focused on evidence-based practices, drawing knowledge from fitness experts like Dr. Layne Norton and Alan Aragon and our sport science lecturer at my university. My online coaching journey began in 2012, fuelled by a passion to share my learnings and help others avoid the path I took.

After university, I founded my own startup — we worked with clients like Deloitte, Ernst & Young, and even government organizations. That journey took me deep into the startup world, including time at Startupbootcamp, one of Europe’s top accelerators. I later transitioned into biotech and pharma, where I gained firsthand insight into how conditions like diabetes and cardiovascular disease actually develop.
 

Later, working in the relentless pace of web3, I experienced firsthand how easily health gets sidelined when ambition takes over. It all pointed in one direction: helping people like me - ambitious, desk-bound, and searching for a better way to stay healthy long term.

 

That’s what led to AgeShift.

It's not about pushing you to your limits. It's about delivering the "minimal effective dose" – the right balance of exercise and recovery to promote long-term health and prevent injuries. My goal isn't to make you the strongest or fastest, but to build overall well-being and a youthful vitality that transcends age.

I'm fascinated by the science of aging and how it intersects with fitness. Inspired by the work of Dr. Peter Attia and my involvement with VitaDAO, I've developed a deep understanding of longevity and well-being. Drawing on a decade of experience in fast-paced startups and the pharmaceutical industry, I honed the ability to set goals and achieve results combining evidence-based strategies with personalised training plans.
